RTV Silicone
Application scope:
Wesbond 9010 silicone is a neutral single component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber that absorbs moisture from the air and solidifies at room temperature. Non toxic, non polluting, and non corrosive. It has good electrical insulation and arc resistance, aging resistance, moisture resistance, and good adhesion performance. Can be used for a long time within the temperature range of -60 ℃ to -200 ℃. Long storage period, stable performance, and the ability to bond common metal and non-metal materials, making it suitable for bonding and sealing between various metals and between metal and non-metal materials.
Purpose:
9010RTV silicone rubber is widely used as an adhesive, sealing, insulating, moisture-proof, and shockproof material for electronic components, semiconductor materials, electronic appliances, and other equipment. It is also used for waterproofing and sealing of electric heaters, electronic instruments, and sealing of electronic components. Specifically, it includes sealing of electric heating terminals, bonding of small motor magnetic tiles and metal shells, bonding and sealing of car lights, optical instruments and lenses, bonding of electronic instrument shells, insulation protection of motors, bonding and sealing of electronic components, etc.

Usage Method:
After general cleaning and drying of the components, the product is extruded from the metal hose and coated with glue. The glue comes into contact with moisture in the air and solidifies from the surface to the inside, with a maximum curing time of no more than 24 hours.
Matters Needing Attention:
1. For temperature resistant components, they can be cured at room temperature first, and then treated in a damp oven at 50-100 ℃ for 4-8 hours to remove low molecular weight substances and fully cure to ensure the performance of the adhesive.
2. After use, the rubber hose should be tightly covered and can be stored for reuse.
