Thread Locking
Note: Under the conditions of room temperature of 22 ℃ and relative humidity of 55-65%, M26-2 bolts nuts were treated with surface phosphating without clamping force and cured for 24 hours.
Application:
Weisbang thread sealant 2071, also known as thread locking adhesive, has high strength, low to medium viscosity, good chemical resistance, and is suitable for long-lasting thread locking and sealing. It has good rust and corrosion resistance in poor chemical environments, lubricity, and can accurately convert torque. It is difficult to disassemble with ordinary tools and can be disassembled by heating.
Wesbond thread locking adhesive 2071 is widely used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, machinery, electronics, electrical, hardware, metallurgy, etc. for locking, sealing, holding, bonding, shock resistance, leak sealing, and corrosion prevention. For example: engine installation screw locking, drum washing machine counterweight locking screw locking, rolling mill reducer and gearbox thread locking, balance bridge bolt locking, differential spiral fan gear bolt locking.
Instructions
To achieve good performance, the surface needs to be clean and free of grease. The bolts need to be coated with sufficient adhesive to fill all mating threads. This product works well in thin adhesive layers below 0.05mm. The larger clearance between oversized threads can affect the curing speed and strength of the product. This product will reduce the friction generated during assembly (torque tension ratio). In applications where the thread needs to be tightened to a critical value, this ratio should be determined in advance.
Storage conditions
Unless otherwise indicated on the label, the ideal storage conditions for this product are sealed in a cool, dry place at 8 ° C-28 ° C (46 ° F-82 ° F). The optimal storage temperature range is 8 ° C-18 ° C. To avoid contaminating the original adhesive, do not pour any adhesive back into the original packaging.
